Dee’s design engineers get involved early in the development of your part. We thoroughly review your engineering drawings and specifications to ensure we're utilizing the most efficient process for your application. If necessary, our engineers can meet with you at your location to provide on-site design consultation before we receive your final drawings.
Our review process is designed to raise essential engineering and manufacturing questions such as: What is your desired application? What is the expected volume and weight? What tolerances must be maintained? Are the coring and parting lines acceptable? How will the part be gated? How many images can be put on the tool? Are engineering drawings available electronically? What finishing operations will be necessary?
After all the essential questions have been addressed, we’ll provide you with our recommendations on the best method to use in casting your part. Our early involvement improves your time to market and optimizes your manufacturing dollars.
